At the point of submission, the author will need to nominate if the submission is;

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • The abstract must be 250 words or less exclusive of title, author(s) names, institutional affiliation(s).  Abbreviations may be used only if defined in the abstract. Abstracts over the word limit will not be accepted by the online submission system. References and images are not accepted in abstracts.

  • The CNSA will not permit promotion of products in concurrent sessions. Affiliations to companies, not for profit organisations, employing agencies and web-based support organisations must be declared with author information.  Failure to do so at the time of unblinding may make the submission invalid.

  • Abstracts will be “blinded” to the reviewers who will not be provided with any information that would identify authors or organisations. Applicants should not assume that reviewers will be familiar with any previous work from an individual or research team.

  • You should keep all emails sent to you regarding your abstract submission. Once you begin your abstract submission, a number of specific background questions will be asked. The reviewers can see your answers to these questions. Once you have made your submission, you can return and edit it until the closing date for submission (6 February 2015). After this date, no amendments will be permitted. It is the responsibility of submitting authors to verify that their submission has been received. You will be sent an automated confirmation email to confirm receipt of your submission. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact the Congress Managers - cnsa@chillifoxevents.com.au

Abstracts must be structured under the following headings:

Introduction: Should set the scene and contain key points. The relevance of the subject to the congress needs to be clearly stated. The introduction should contain one or two sentences to introduce the project/ activity/ study and the rationale. The background to the work should be described, clarifying the topic.

Objectives/Aims: Provide a clear statement of the purpose or aims of the project/ activity/ study.
